About us

My name is Jose (Cheito El barbero ) Rivera, I am Married to my beautiful wife, Jodi Rivera, and we have our 5 lovely kids. I was born and raised here in Wilmington, Delaware. I have been a barber for 7 years, owning Heavy Hitters barbershop since 2009, which is an AWARD WINNING BARBERSHOP. On April 2011, I WON 1st place and 2nd place at the IBS SUPER BARBER BATTLE cutting competition in NEW YORK CITY. I also attended the EAST COAST BARBER BATTLE IN JERSEY CITY and won 1ST place....2012 I attended the Xotic Hair Battle Tour in Chicago and won 2nd place in the fast fade catagory, in which I finished in 4 minutes. In, 2013 I won 1st place in the mohowk catagory in BOSTON and winning 1st place in Jersey City at the International Hair and Beauty Show. I won a total of 7 trophies in with these awards. I'm a professional license barber, who specializes in all types of hair cuts; long hair, short hair, shaved heads, bald fades, tapers, mohawks razor shaves, textures, facials, and more. I have a passion for what I do. I am very committed to providing professional services. I also have cut a couple of celebrities including; Derek Jeter from the New York Yankees, Carmelo Anthony from the New York Knicks, Alfonso Malaguti catcher of the New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez, Alex Fatt and Don dinero, players from the Wilmington Blue Rocks, Carmelo Oquendo final winner of "Next Great Baker" show, LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dwayne from Atlanta housewives. I travel the states and teach classes for barbering . I really appreciate the love and the support of this positive movement of talent.......CHEITO DE BARBERO
