The goddess braids was 275 and they were twisted at the end instead of being braided. You make an appointment and you do not get in the seat at that t...ime because they are taking walk-ins. The curly part of the braids where short and not uniform with the braids making it look like it was curly at the top and the rest of the braids are just long at the end and my daughter said the girl didn’t even look like she knew what she was doing because the owner had to keep coming to show her. SMH never again. If I could reply to your comment I would but my appointment time was not 2pm if you guys started my daughter hair at 11:30am and we stalled looking for hair because you didn’t have a lot of options or not the right color she wanted so she settled and your right 3 weeks later because I came to Booksy to book another appointment and it asked for a review about your company and I gave my honest opinion and like I said before never again you do not put people in the chair at their appointment time and I also told you that we were leaving for Chicago that’s why I stressed the issue about timing and the appointment time was for 10:30am not 2pm hun. We are both entitled to our own opinion, you have a great day!!!! Show more

I’m really hoping I can do a 2 part review, this one is a long one… After searching for a booking a last minute appointment, due to my braider cance...ling, I found Mercy’s through Booksy and I was so happy that I could find an appointment for the following day (Wednesday). However, after some brief communication via messenger regarding what exact style I was wanting, I was left hanging after being told they were with another client and would contact me within 3 hours - COMPLETELY understandable, however I didn’t hear anything back. I was then contacted 10 hours later, by someone I assume was the owner/manager via text message around 945pm to see if I could arrive before the scheduled timed, however I couldn’t due to a 45 minute drive and doctors appointment for the following week already scheduled. At that point, I was informed that their braider worked overnight and preferred earlier appointments, so I asked if I should cancel and find someone else - I was pressed for time - family was flying in for a huge family get together at my house that I also needed to pick up from the airport, college homecoming gathering also at my house that same weekend, and major surgery at the following week. I simply needed to know if I should book with one of the other locations that had available times when I needed them that day, and was left on read around 10:45pm. The following morning I reached out around 5:15am to see if there was an update and around 7:45am received a response asking if I could be there at 10am (I’d booked for 11). Again, because of other appointments I could not. At 8:30 I was told to cancel and rebook for the following day (Friday) through Booksy… I again had appointments in the morning so I asked if I should confirm and was told to just make the appointment. I then found another appointment for the following day after making my family scramble to find rides from the airport and moving another appointment that was later in the day, but I still had another doctors appointment first thing on Friday that I couldn’t move, but there were slots mid morning that were available and I assumed it was because they had other braider available… again, I was contacted and asked if I could come earlier, which I couldn’t… the manager then told me to contact the braider because she wanted to talk to me, I called immediately and unfortunately woke her up, but she wanted to tell me herself that the following morning was going to work - 10:30am. I arrived the following morning to find a locked shop, reached out and was eventually told she would be in her way. When she got there, I again explained the style I’d wanted - which was confirmed the first day via messenger - knotless braids with human hair that fell around my bra strap (mid back) and told her I’d brought the human hair with me. There was a bit of a language barrier, which was completely fine - my ex husband and I had different first languages, so I know I’m the idiot that only speaks one language and I have to be patient and find a way to bridge that gap. I was shown blond hair as an option, no… I wanted it dark… I was shown another texture, no… wanted the human hair ends, not the hybrid synthetic/human hair mix… plus, I’d brought high end expensive 100% human hair bulk hair that I really wanted to use, I was then told I didn’t bring enough - the gentleman who has worked at my local supply shop for decades talked me out of needing more than the one package due to the 2 large bundles included with the pack I brought - I also had wefts of the same texture in my car, not ideal, but I was hoping it would work. What I wanted was smedium knotless wavy “Zoë Kravitz” braids, what I left with was all synthetic first generation black Barbie braids with rod curls. Show more

Sorry for the inconvenience as our appointments through Booksy is a new system. We're still trying to adjust Booksy to our other platforms as well. As far as the stylist who worked on your hair is an independent contractor who only would suggest what was needed. We are deeply sorry you had a bad experience and would like for you to reach out for a discount on future services.
