I was seeing the same hairdresser for seven years when he decided to move out of state. Replacing him seemed impossible until I was lucky enough to fi...nd Rome. I noticed a friend of mine. His son always licking fresh with their barber was and they referred me to Rome. That’s how I came across him was by noticing, my friends cut on point and fresh. Now after my appointments, I look the same way and he’s good at giving you suggestions while working with the look that you’re trying to go with. He doesn’t brush, he is detail, oriented, clean, respectful, and best of all you walk out out of there with the upmost confidence. Highly recommend! Show more

Our last visit was very disappointing. My youngest son (13 year old) had an appointment with Rome at 1:30. As we were about to leave the house my olde...r son (16 years old and also one of Rome’s clients) was involved in a car accident a mile from our home. I immediately left the house to go help him deal with the damage, insurance notification and police report. I texted and called Rome to give him a heads up on what was happening and asked if I could bring my younger son later that same day. He informed me I would have to pay a “reschedule fee” but he could come in 2 hours later. I texted him a photo of our damaged car and let him know we would be able to make the 3:30 appointment, hoping some consideration would be taken to our situation. We showed up on time and services were completed. When I went to pay, he charged us for TWO full service appointments because we had to come in 2 hours later due to my 16 year olds car accident. I was absolutely shocked and furious that no consideration to our situation was given, only a “I have a business to run” explanation by him. We didn’t forget our appointment and no show, I communicated immediately about a terrified 16 year old who had just gotten in a car accident! Before I even left the parking lot, I canceled our next appointment for the following week, (he lost 3 clients because of this) and will never return. If this is the way clients are treated here, we can easily find another barber. Show more

When booking an appointment, everyone is informed that there is a 6 hour cancelation/rescheduling window. We all have bad days. However, everyone is held to the same standard regardless of the reasoning for the cancelation/rescheduling. If you actually respected my business and didn't feel entitled to special treatment. You would want to compensate me for my time. Instead of complaining about a policy that has been in place for over a year.
