I'm a navy veteran and my physical and mental health struggles have not allowed me to maintain my locs very well this past year. So I searched on book...sy and found Renee's friendly face. If i couldn't do it anymore, she seemed more than capable! It took me about 3 weeks to make the appointment once i decided that she would be my loctician. If you're agoraphobic and have ptsd, you know how it is. The building is one I had been to before and felt safe going to. It has great parking big enough for my husband's work van, which i have to drive if the appointment is before dropping the kids to school. Her prompt communication when I booked my appointment was something I definitely appreciated. This is where professionalism ends in my review. This morning I received a message that she will not be in the salon until after my initial appointment time, with no response to my inquiry, no reason for the change, and subsequent cancelation of my appointment. I have been having such a rough time with my ptsd trauma anniversary last month. Getting my hair consult and possible maintenance done on my locs today was something I hoped could help me start this next month differently and feel some worth again when i look in the mirror. The struggle to stay for your kids is real and every little bit helps. You may never know how a small interaction can impact the life of someone else. Be kind. Choose love. Listen, I left you a message stating that you could still show up at 11:30. Whether you received a confirmation for that time, I made it clear that 11:30 was still the time I was going to expect you. Now bc I had surgery on Monday, I started later today, dassit! You adding those confirmation pics are trivial. I apologized bc I didn't get your text bc my phone is not responding like it should due to the lack of storage! You are and will be my only one star, who I am supercedes the miscommunication of someone that is not a client. Thanks for your dissertation, but at this point, you're doing a bit too much! My work and what you see on my page isn't by accident. Again! I had surgery on Monday! Dassit...... that is all. Be blessed and carry on! You made your point, and I respect that, Respectfully!
