Just moved here from out of state recently and had a difficult time finding a good barbershop and one I could trust. Found this place and the barber J...ames was excellent! Good price and excellent job with my haircut to get me ready for the police academy. Without a doubt one of the best cuts I’ve gotten and friendly people there was very professional and and excellent environment. James is the man! His fade game is on point and will NOT disappoint! He has a very vibrant personality and I sense him getting along with anyone and e...veryone. My son, 9 years of age, highly admires James and was impressed by him as a person as well as his work (my son doesn’t get easily impressed). I concur! The barber shop itself is fresh, airy, and leaves you feeling comfortable and entertained via flatscreens and music. The rest of the staff was also super inviting, upbeat, chill, and actually very kind. You cannot go wrong with this barber shop!! If it’s even a tad bit or way out of your way, IT IS WORTH GOING! James aka master barber G is the best kept secret in Virginia beach. ...I love my haircut and his overall professionalism. I also chopped it up with the owner (Alvin) who seems to really care about the customer experience. Very clean, modern, and upscale shop. It's safe to say I found a new home. James is the best barber in the area, and the first to tell me that my haircut is easy. Before that, I had always struggled to get what I wanted out o...f a haircut. My head shape is a bit challenging, and often times when I get it cut short on the sides, it never looks good. My hair is also a bit coarse and somewhat curly, and it can be a challenge to know how much to leave on the top. James has never once given me a bad haircut and they always last a long time because he knows how to blend very well. I can not recommend him enough, I used to fear the day I would get a haircut, but now I look forward to them! Show more
