Great barber. Integrity questionable. I booked three appointments. 4pm, 4:30pm and 5pm. Paid half upfront. On the way to pick up kids from school to ...get them to their appointment, a truck caught fire on I-285, and all lanes were closed. Folks out of their cars on the freeway. I canceled my appointments as it became clear that I would be late. 20 minutes later, we were back moving, and I texted asking if I could have my appointments back. No response but two of the appointments originally booked were still open, so I booked 4:30 and 5 pm through the app again....couldn't get all 3 back. An additional $30.00 was held. At settlement, Nigel wouldn't recognize the credits from the originally scheduled appointments but acknowledged that he received my text. After a discussion where I tried to reason with him, I thanked him for his service and shook his hand. He lost recurring customers for $30.00. Two boys, $30.00 each, plus tip twice a month. Descent barber, but he took advantage of an unfortunate everyday situation and showed that at the end of the day, he didn't value his customers . Nigel didn't operate in good faith as he led me to believe that he'd credit me back the funds once I closed out the existing transaction. Reluctantly, I went along as I didn't think that he'd risk the business relationship and future cashflows for $30.00. The cancelation policy, which is not posted, should not have applied in all instances as I made it on time for two of the three appointments, communicated with him prior to the appointment times, and took the times so no one else could double book. The third appointment was for a friend visiting. He was serviced by another barber upon arrival since we were 20 minutes late. Show more
