I’m so glad I finally found someone that can not only cut hair but design as well. D is friendly, professional and a whole vibe. The atmosphere was a ...10, vibe was a 10 and Energy felt was a 20 and it was matched with my energy!! I have no complaints about it only that I didn’t find her sooner. Could have saved lots of money and time had I known about her sooner but nevertheless I got her now and will definitely be a permanent client!! Today Deandria answered the call & mastered the assignment 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 The hair journey for Black women should not be played with, FULL STOP!...!! I am so very pleased to write this review. My time with D was wonderful! D actually listened and wanted to know what I was feeling. I was a anxious because I had been to the same location and had a horrible hair stylist. Life on life’s terms right? I needed a new Stylist, I tried again. I left Lotus Box Grooming Studio feeling lighter, loving my hair, and GRATITUDE that D knows what she’s doing and did the damn thang on my head!!! When you pray be prepared for an answer. This is going to be a somewhat long of a post but D deserves every single word. I was nervous coming to somebody new when it came to getting a retwist... because I have only had one person in my head since starting my loc journey. My scalp started breaking out with dandruff and drying out extremely bad after my previous retwist before coming to see D. I was nervous, anxious and really skeptical about seeing a new stylist. From the moment I walked into D’s studio from the atheistically pleasing environment with the calm music and serenity of design thought out inside the studio calmed my nerves instantly. D proceeded to ask me about my day and as we continued conversation it was like I’ve know her my entire life and she made me feel like family. D asked me to sit in her chair while she looked at my scalp for the first time and she listened to what I was worried about. After hearing me out she suggested a scalp treatment add on before washing my hair and i agreed. She continued to carry conversation with me while she added in the treatment while massaging my head for 15 mins. She then washed my hair and then retwisted my hair. I had an extremely long day and for the time spent in her shop I had a moment of relief away from the outside world. D provided not only excellent work on my retwist but the experience she provided along with it was top tier. D is amazing, I left her studio feeling lighter very happy. I’ve received so many compliments on my retwist since leaving her studio. She took her time and didn’t make me feel rushed at any point. She listened to my concerns and addressed them head on while also providing a solution. I don’t normally leave reviews but I hope this does her some justice and if you are looking for a stylist don’t even second guess D. She will make it happen. D thank you again and I appreciate the positive energy and affirmations we poured into one another and you have definitely earned a customer! Show more
