My 2nd time at Mimi’s, both with Alyssa. Alyssa is a tremendously talented hairdresser who took my hair and made it the Dreadlocks I desired even bett...er than I’d imagined! She is a natural talent who also loves doing this and making her clients feel amazing about their hair. I highly recommend her! Mimi herself is excellent and a professional! I watched her work on other clients during each of my visits. Her skills and professionalism are above most that I have experienced and seen in the industry thus far, and she is a fun person to talk to as well. Mimi truly cares about the experience you receive and her passion is evident from how she will observe and advise and assist other hairdressers while she is working on her own clients to ensure that all clients receive the very best service possible! My first and ONLY visit was horrendous. I booked a 9am appointment almost a month in advance. I got there and they weren’t even open yet, waited 30 mi...nutes and still no one was there. Asked the barbershop next door to call the owner for me. She then tells me to wait for her until 1030am! I found this to be unbelievably unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Especially since I received 2 separate confirmation texts. I only put one star bc this app won’t allow me to post a review with no stars. I had an event I needed my hair braided for and wasn’t able to. Don’t spend your hard earned money at a place that doesn’t respect their customers time. Show more
