Im not one to leave reviews but this one is necessary. I booked a appointment with amber and I was on time. Most barbers are behind schedule doing cut...s so I overlooked my appointment starting a little late. When she decided to cut and complete a walk in and have me wait in the middle of doing my cut that’s when I figured she didn’t value me as a costumer. I’ve been cutting hair for 12 years myself. What I asked for shouldn’t have taken 2 hours to complete. She didn’t do the cut I asked for and in my opinion purposely messed up my lining. Like I said I’ve been cutting hair for a while especially in the Marine Corps so I know the difference between a good fade and MCX cut. It’s unfortunate because I was excited to support a woman of color. Below is what I asked for vs what I got in a two hour cut. Luckily I have enhancements at home and clippers to fix it. Show more

I’m so sorry for your experience and that you felt so neglected and that I purposely ruined your line up, please know that wasn’t my intention and not in my character if I would have knew how extensive your haircut was I would have scheduled you better or possibly recommended you elsewhere, hopefully I can learn from this.

I showed up to my appointment with a full head of hair. Overgrown edges, etc. A hot mess express, if you will. Amber worked her magic and I was a new ...woman walking out the shop. I, as the customer, was welcomed upon entering the establishment and was provided verbal confirmation that I was scheduled...which eliminated the need... for asking/guessing, as had been at other barbershops just to be told that I was unfortunately not scheduled as I thought. The establishment was clean and inviting. Additionally, prior to cutting, my head was combed through and I was asked and confirmed what would I like. In the end, service was delivered and I was pleased with the cut compared to what I have been receiving from the local barbershops. Would highly recommend due to: ease, care, price. Show more
