I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Ignore all of the positive reviews… I’ll tell you why. Honestly, HANDS DOWN the worst barbershop I’ve e...ver been to… *please read below* So I had a 9;00 am appointment booked and I get to the store right at 9:00 and it’s closed. Which I thought was quite unprofessional. I then wait outside just to see another customer waiting too so we get to talking. He tells me he also has an appointment at 9 and has been waiting too. The time then gets to 9:10.. Some bald guy comes out of an alleyway and opens the store without any apology to the two of us for being late but just says something in Spanish assuming we understand it ….. neither of us did ! but I doubt he was saying an apology lol. So I tell him I have an appointment at 9 and if he’s wilson and he said no he’s on the way with no mention of him being late or even apologizing on his behalf. So I sit on the couch and wait.. The other customer sits on the chair and his cut doesn’t even start until the guy sets up music I really didn’t mind waiting 5-10 minutes for my barber but the guy ended up coming half an hour late !! Again absolutely zero acknowledgment or apology to me who is a paying customer. I really should have left but I didn’t have anywhere else to be and needed a haircut so I stayed and gave them the benefit of the doubt. He doesn’t call me to the chair he just stands there and I get up and ask are you Wilson so I sit on the chair after he nodded his head. Unsurprisingly he doesn’t speak a word of English which is fine but not all customers speak Spanish or understand it. So he asks the bald guy to ask me what I wanted and translate it to him. I have a very simple cut a number 3 on the sides and 2 inches off the top. He translates it to him. Proceeds to give me the worst haircut I’ve ever had. During the cut they are both just talking to each other and are barely touchin mine or the other customers hair They then make coffee and start drinking it mid cut and talking to eachother like they’re at a cafe. Cut my damn hair ! It’s not a complicated or long cut. It’s a 30 min max job. I don’t get out till 10:20am. He puts hair gel on my hair without asking me and just ruins my hair. I don’t say anything cause he won’t understand me anyway. I ask him do you take card payments and he just gives me a look with a blank expression like I swore at him lol. I then hear another barber say tell him to go to the atm at cvs in Spanish. Which I barely understood … Then the baldy comes back and takes me to the counter and asks me to tap my card. They charge me $31.20 when it’s a $30 haircut. I didn’t even care maybe it was an Amex credit card fee. Just thought I’d mention it. The best part was when the bald guy asked me for a tip. ! The sheer audacity made me laugh and I told him “you both came late, I don’t think anyone would tip” in my head I wanted to say “I should tip you for translation” lol Anyway, thanks for reading if you made it this far. . Please never come here !! They just have terrible customer service, crap haircuts. and are a disgrace to barbershops. AVOID !! Show more
