Man what can I say, I’ve been cutting my hair for the last 10+ years. I’m finally at a place where I’m over the cleanup and consumption of time it tak...es to cut my own. I did some extensive research on barbers who set the standard in Minnesota. I found Akeem and just wanted to check out his vibe. A “give him a chance” moment. At any rate, I booked the appointment through Booksy which was extremely easy. I initially set the appointment for 6pm, but things changed for me and I ended up needing to move it up to 4pm. He was able to do that for me and when I got there at 4 he was finishing up with a client so there was a little bit of a wait, he made the accommodation for me, so why wouldn’t I be able to do the same? Long story short, I sat in the chair and instantly it was like talking to a cousin or a family member I hadn’t seen in a while. We talked life, relationships and more. He’s a got a good spirit and there’s a reason why Eagles fly alone. Y’all a catch that one later. Back on topic, He bodied this haircut. I’m in front of a large audience every week and I’ve never gotten more compliments. Ever. Since the cut, my wife has been extremely touchy feely and I’m slightly uncomfortable. 😂 I even said randomly aloud “Akway is Datway!” He will be my new barber going forward. 10/10 would recommend for his services, his professionalism his attention to detail and his barbershop presentation.
